Cleo Eliona (Wilson) Jones Yeager

Cleo Eliona (Wilson) Jones Yeager, 89, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. She was a long-time member of Christ Community Church of the Nazarene.

She was born on November 11, 1931, in New Albany, Indiana, to Joseph and Elzie (Grubb) Wilson. In addition to her parents, Cleo was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Jones; and siblings, Joe Wilson, Marie Wheeler, Ella Mae Simler, Arnold Cobb, and Stanley Cobb.

Cleo is survived by her husband, Tom Yeager; children, Sandy Ross (Larry) and Chris Jones (Sherrie); siblings, Della York, Thelma Settle (Roy), and Wayne Cobb (Martha); grandchildren, Michele Ganote (Mark), Brian Temple (Shawn), Nathan Ross, and Shane Jones (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Sydney Brace (Wylie), Hunter Ganote, Jacob Ross, Braedon Ross, Chris Temple, Amanda Coriell, and Jessica Coriell; great-great-grandchildren, CJ, Lilly, Isaac, and Gracyne; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral service will be held privately, and Cleo will be laid to rest at Edwardsville Cemetery.
