Clemon Junior "Clem" Hunt, 92, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Georgetown, Indiana, on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Clem, or known as Junior by many, was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown. In 1950, he married the love of his life, Wanda Evelyn (Coots), and the two soon moved to Louisville to raise their family. Clem retired from Reynolds Metals Co. in 1985 and worked as a school bus driver for the New Albany-Floyd County School System until he retired completely in 1990.
Clem was born on November 25, 1928, in Monford, Kentucky, to the late Crabtree and Londa (Bratcher) Hunt. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Coots) Hunt; grandson, Barry W. Hunt; daughter-in-law, Bernice Hunt; and siblings, Corby and Carl Hunt and Mayree Smith.
Clem is survived by his sons, Doug (Judy) Hunt and Barry Hunt; grandchildren, Heather (Wes) Kiesler and Brittany Hunt; great-grandchildren, Chance Pinner and Corbin Kiesler; and great friend who he loved and considered his daughter, Missy Martin.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
