Claude Lee "Bumper" Able, Jr., 40, passed away on March 9, 2017. He was a single father to three beautiful daughters and a loyal son and brother. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and he loved his old cars. Bumper enjoyed working along side his father in their family owned business. There was nothing that he couldn't fix mechanical. His greatest times where spending time with his girls and talking about seeing them growing into beautiful young women and waking up and starting his day to see their precious faces. Bumper was a caring son with a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Able and grandmothers, Ruby Cox and Nettie Stivers
Bumper is survived by his children, Sherry Able, Layla Able and Mahaylie Able; parents, Claude and Mary Able; siblings, Shawn (Krystina) Able, Eric (Tiffany) Able and Brittany (Todd) Moore; aunt, Carrie (Doug) Stine-Bozsoki; nieces, Shelby Moore and Elizabeth Moore; nephews, Matthew Able and Christian Able and his fur-baby, Burns.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 11am-6pm with a celebration of Bumper's life beginning at 6pm.
A graveside will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West, (4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 11am.
