Clarrissa Ann Hardesty, 48, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Born on March 3, 1977, Clarrissa was the beloved daughter of Donald, Sr. and Cathy (Knasel) Hardesty. A kind and caring individual, she touched the lives of everyone she encountered with her warmth and smile.

Clarrissa was a graduate of Floyd Central High School, class of 1996. Throughout her life, she remained an enthusiastic supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers, showing her loyalty and passion for the team wearing her orange gear. Music was another love of hers, as she especially loved listening to country music.

In addition to her parents, Clarrissa is survived by her grandparents, William and Shirley Knasel; brothers, Donnie Hardesty, Jr. (Jocelyn) and Patrick Hardesty; nieces, Raven McGill, Kadence and Karolina Hardesty, will forever remember the joy and kindness their aunt brought into their lives. Clarrissa's lifelong best friend, Tracy Neafus, stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing countless memorable moments. Moreover, Clarrissa held her Goddaughter, Jocelyn Smith, close to her heart, adoring her with unconditional love.

Clarrissa's final wish was to be cremated, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) has been entrusted with her care.
