Clarence Phillip "Snookey" Starnes, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 14, 2015. He retired from CSX and served his country in the United States Air Force.
Clarence was born on January 16, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Clarence and Sallie (Beason) Starnes. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence A. Starnes and sister, Chiquita Starnes.
Clarence is survived by his mother, Sallie Starnes, daughters; Chevette Radford and Sheneka Starnes, three brothers, Larry Starnes, Tommy Starnes and Gardell Starnes, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at St. Peter's Evangelical United Church of Christ 1225 W. Jefferson Street Louisville, KY 40203, with funeral services to follow at 11:30 am. Burial will held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
