Clarence Mason

February 6, 1956 — May 17, 2025

Eminence

Clarence Mason, a cherished figure in the lives of many, was born on February 6, 1956, in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He passed away on May 17, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, with his devoted family by his side. Clarence lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

A proud graduate of Eminence High School, Clarence continued his education and earned his associates degree from Paducah University. His commitment to growth and self-improvement mirrored the hardworking spirit he exemplified in his career as a maintenance man for Faculty Management, where he served diligently for over five years.

Beyond his professional contributions, Clarence was a devoted father to his daughter, Clarai Mason. His love extended into the fabric of his family, where he was a beloved brother to Joan Mason, and a proud uncle to his nieces Mesha Mason and Sara Cooper, as well as his nephew Tyrone Cooper. His family extended further with the joy of great-nieces Zurionna Cooper and Amelia Cooper, along with great-nephew Dayton Cooper. Clarence treasured every moment spent with his family, which stood as one of his proudest accomplishments—watching them grow and flourish.

Clarence's warm personality shone brightly in his interactions with others. Known for his honesty, hard work, and compassion, he had an innate ability to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His hobbies reflected the warmth of his heart; he loved playing the guitar, cooking delicious meals for friends and family, and spending quality time with both his biological family and his church family.

As we remember Clarence, we celebrate a life filled with moments of kindness and grace. He was a son to his late mother, Sarah Mason, and late father, Ralph Mason, a legacy of love that he has carried into the lives of his own family.

Clarence will forever be remembered for the light he brought into the lives of those around him. His spirit will remain alive in the stories shared, the smiles exchanged, and the love that continues to flourish among his family and friends.
