Clarence Lester Johnson, Jr.

Clarence Lester "Les" Johnson, Jr., 66, of Louisville passed away on November 18, 2015. Les was born in Louisville on September 1, 1949, to the late Clarence and Cleo (Wortham) Johnson. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master of Arts in Education from Western Kentucky University. Les went on to teach elementary music in Jefferson County Public Schools for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Linda Johnson; step-sons, Tim Masticola (Mary Lynn) and Tom Masticola (Daina); step-daughters, Theresa Croft (Ricky) and Tiffany Price (Brad); step-grandchildren, Scott, Albert (Jessica), Joshua (Laura), Tommy, Jr., Monica, Tammy, and Alicia; step-great-grandchildren, Abigail, Victoria, Ireland, Alyssa, Matthew, Dylan, Regan, Julie, Isabella, Isaiah, Ethan, James, and Jarrod; and daughter-in-law, Jessie Romines.

Les was preceded in death by one step-grandson, Michael Wallace and step-granddaughters, Kristen, Alison, and McKenzie Masticola.

Funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service.
