Clarence Eells Rader, age 91, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. He was born February 26, 1924 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late John Trout and Clara Jackson Rader. Mr. Rader was a World War II Veteran serving his country in the Navy in the Fighter-Bomber Squadron in three major battles, from 1944-1946. He was a businessman and retired minister of the Gospel Kingdom Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Lois Rader.
Mr. Rader is survived by his two sons, Robert Rader (Phyllis) and James Rader (Pearl); two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with burial to follow in the Gospel Kingdom Campground Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be 3-8pm Wednesday, November 4th and 9:30am until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
