Clara Lee Hughes

Clara Lee "LeeLee" Hughes, 75, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on April 20, 2016. Clara was born in Louisville on November 12, 1940 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Fleig. She worked in Medical Records for Norton Healthcare for many years. Clara enjoyed the outdoors and was an animal lover. She also did arts and crafts and was an excellent seamstress.

Clara is survived by her husband, Bill Hughes; children, Libby Canady (Jack), Chris Hughes (Sherri), Cheryl Hughes, Andy Hughes; four grandchildren, Jordan, Jack, Aaron, and Emily; one great-grandchild, Rory; brother, Bob Fleig; and sister, Shirley Franklin.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 26 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5431 Johnsontown Road, Louisville, KY 40272).
