Clara Ann (Stephenson) Aikin

Clara Ann (Stephenson) Aikin, 81, of Magnet, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Clara loved reading, traveling, butterfly bushes, the color yellow, and meeting new people. Of all the things she enjoyed in her life, her favorites were her trust and faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family that He blessed her with.

She was born on November 23, 1939, in Magnet, Indiana, to the late Robert and Martha (Tate) Stephenson. Along with her parents, Clara is preceded in death by her siblings, Verna Bell, Bobby Stephenson, and Elbert Stephenson.

Clara is survived by her loving daughter, Eugenia "Gina" Boone; grandchildren, Elsa (Chris) Crooks and William (Raechel Lewis) Boone; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Crooks and Charlie Rose Crooks; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Stephenson Family Cemetery in Magnet, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Clara's memory be made to the family for additional cemetery expenses.
