Cynthia "Cindy" Carroll, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, left this world on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born on December 27, 1961, to Thomas and Barbara (O'Mary) Ellegood, Cindy graced the lives of many with her warmth and caring spirit.
A devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend, Cindy filled her days with love and laughter. Whether at the dog park with her beloved furbaby, Bella, or enjoying meals with family, her zest for life was infectious. Cindy cherished vacations to Gulf Shores, Florida, and Gatlinburg, creating beautiful memories with her nieces and nephews that will be fondly remembered.
Cindy’s giving nature was evident in everything she did, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. Her passion for life shone through, especially during Halloween, her favorite holiday, when she would decorate with joy and enthusiasm. She dedicated over 25 years to her role as a dental assistant at Keys Dentistry, where she touched the lives of both coworkers and patients alike.
Preceded in death by her parents, Barbara (O'Mary) Ellegood and Thomas Ellegood, brother, Mark Ellegood, and sister, Nancy Ellegood, Cindy leaves behind a loving husband of 29 years, Terry Carroll, and her cherished sisters, Debra (Faron) White and Denise (Mark) Bouchard. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Ashley, Brendan, and Gavin Carroll, her furbaby, Bella, and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Cindy will be deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her spirit lives on in the love she shared and the joy she brought into the lives of so many.
