Cinda (Linney) Richman, a devoted mother, designer, and compassionate foster parent, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dylan Rissler; her mother and father, Edith and Eugene Linney; and her brothers, Billy & Paul Linney.
Cinda’s life was defined by generosity and love. After the heartbreaking loss of her special needs son early in life, she channeled her grief into opening her home and heart to countless children. As a foster mother and mentor, she provided care and guidance to young women and children from the developing world seeking medical treatment in the U.S., becoming a cherished "bonus mom" to many.
By trade, Cinda was a gifted designer. She began her career creating intricate line drawings and witnessed the transformation of her industry with the rise of AutoCAD. She dedicated many years of her career to Yum! Brands, where her creativity and vision left a lasting impact. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, she designed and built her custom forever home on Harrods Creek, where she found peace tending to her gardens and observing the beauty of local wildlife.
Cinda is survived by her loving husband, Bill; and the many honorary children and grandchildren who were touched by her kindness and good works. Her legacy of love, creativity, and selflessness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
