Christopher Todd Stewart

Christopher Todd Stewart, 41, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015. He was a very talented craftsman and chain saw artist. Chris was a member of the Insulators Union Local 51 and was an employee of Cardinal Insulation. He also enjoyed deer hunting, riding motorcycles with his wife, as well as spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on September 10, 1973 in Corydon, Indiana to Arthur Stewart and the late Patricia (Combs) Stewart. Along with his father, he is survived by his wife, Dawn (Striegel) Stewart; step-mother, Jane Stewart; step-daughters, Amanda Dillow, Rene Striegel; siblings, Robin Bays (Steve), Michelle Woodrome; step-siblings, Brian Bogner, Cheri Daling; grandchildren, Ariana, Sonja, Alex; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Whittinghill (Kyle), George Tuell, Jr. (Lauren), Maggie Bays, Angela Lydon (Travis), Jacob Daling (Rachel), Janelle Daling, Alec Daling; great-nieces and nephews, Cole, Cooper, Kalvin, Conor, Oliver, and Bailey.

Cremation was chosen following Chris' wishes. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 6 PM.
