Christopher Scott "Chris" Smith, 27, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Chris was an avid video gamer and gun enthusiast.
He was born on September 17, 1992, in New Albany, Indiana, to Alan and Deborah (Cain) Smith. Chris is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Cain; and grandmother, Virginia Cain.
Chris is survived by his loving parents, Alan and Deborah Smith; brother, Timothy (Sophie Embry) Smith; nephew, Oliver Smith; grandparents, Gerald and Barbara "Sue" Smith; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
The family requests that contributions in Christopher's memory be made to the Harrison County Animal Control and Shelter (3132 Hope Lane NW, Corydon, IN 47112).
