Christopher "Chris" S. Ketterer Sr., 72, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025.
He was a man who loved life, laughter, and the people around him. He enjoyed singing in the shower, fishing, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He cherished spending time with family and sharing family dinners.
He lived fully and openly, admitting to mistakes in his youth, learning from them, and striving to do better every day. Chris was also a source of guidance and encouragement, teaching loved ones to dream big, maintain a positive attitude, and not to worry, but to give it over to God. He had a strong faith and he was proud to share the love of God with his loved ones.
Chris worked as a store manager at Furniture Liquidators for 30 plus years and retired. Not quite ready for retirement, he then worked for Schmitt Furniture as a salesmen.
He is survived by his loving children, Ketrina (Michael) Parks, Michelle (Russ) Wyatt, Christopher Ketterer Jr., Laura Ann (James) King, Morgan Ketterer, and Sophie Ketterer; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren, he loved so much; his siblings, Phil Ketterer, MaryAnn Ketterer, John Ketterer, Lisa (Dennis) Taylor, and David Ketterer; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Sr. and Theresa Ketterer; and his oldest brother, Alfred Ketterer Jr.
