Christopher Ray Jeffers

Christopher Ray "Chris" Jeffers, 44, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. Chris loved his wife and children and worked hard everyday to provide for his family. He was an avid "rocker" who enjoyed geology and loved digging for and finding unique fossils and rocks.

He was born on January 6, 1977, in New Albany, Indiana, to Donna (Byerly) Stephens and the late Donald Jeffers.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Tommerra Karr; children, Donald Jeffers, James Honadel, Serenity Honadel, and Shawn Jeffers; sisters, Julie Jeffers-Steed and Jessica Jeffers-Weller; 1 nephew; 2 nieces; and many friends and extended family members.

Cremation was chosen in regards to Chris' wishes. A Memorial Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane).
