Christopher Ryan Howie, 31, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019. Christopher loved fishing and hunting and pretty much anything that would allow him to be outdoors. Chris was proud to be a Pipefitter and a member of UA Local 502 Plumbers and Pipefitters. He was also a big Alabama football fan. "Roll Tide!"
He was born on October 26, 1987, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Dorothy Myre; grandfather, Samuel Stevens Howie III; uncle, Edd P. Myre; and several great-uncles.
Chris is survived by his mother, Gloria (Myre) Howie; father, Samuel Stevens Howie IV; grandmother, Jean Cowley; aunt, Rosanna Myre; aunt, Beth Maroules; uncle, Efrem Maroules; great-uncle, James Myre (Shirley); aunt, Patty; and the very special family that he holds close, Eric, Jennifer, Travis, Spencer, Amanda, Gregory, Jonathan, Emma, Mary, Sharon, Valerie, Lisa, and Jerry.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
