Christopher J. Gales "Wako", 31, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Christopher was an avid University of Louisville, and New England Patriots fan. He was a loving Son, Father, Grandson, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, and Friend to so many. Christopher was Baptized at a young age. He was involved in Community Outreach Work, and helped with the Black Lives Matter Movement. Christopher received a Proclamation from the City of Louisville for his act of bravery during the Movement. He saved one of the marchers lives during an altercation surrounding the Black Lives Matter Movement. Christopher will be missed by all who knew him.
He was born on December 28, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky. His Parents are Ellis and Donya (Gales) Swanson. He is preceded in death by his Uncle, Derrick Parker, Cousins, and Great Grandparents.
Christopher is survived by his Parents, Ellis & Donya Swanson, Son, Christopher Gales, Jr., Daughters, Paris Gales, Brother, Derrick K. Gales, Brother, Dwon Gales, Sister, A'Raijzon "Dimples" Gales, Sister, Kye'Lise Swanson, Brother, Ellis J. Swanson, Sister, Renika J. Swanson, Brother, Quintale Cannon, Sister, Bunny Lewis, Grandmother, Bonnie Parker, Grandfather, Walter Gales. Christopher also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Cemetery.
