Christopher John Bryerton

July 26, 1989 — August 19, 2021

Christopher John Bryerton, 32, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1989, in Richmond, Virginia. Chris was a great swimmer and was, at one time, on a competitive swim team. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for nature. Chris was an avid reader and artist and loved to play the guitar.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Domonic George Lippa.

Chris is survived by his mother, Karen (Phil) Cooper; father, John (Brenda) Bryerton; children, Hailey Beck, Briella Tharp, and Airihana Bryerton; brother, Craig Bryerton; grandparents, Ann Lippa and Dennis and Roberta Daly; and nephew, Logan Bryerton.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Christopher's memory can be made to Catalyst Rescue Mission (1727 DL Motley Way, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
