Christopher Logan "Chris" Atwood, 38, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on February 16, 1978, in New Albany, Indiana, to Beverly (Bub) Jr. and April Atwood Howell. Chris was employed with Squire Boone Village and really enjoyed his job. He loved the U of L Cardinals and was an avid Colts fan. He had a huge loving and giving heart and would do anything for anyone. Chris always wore a big smile on his face no matter what was going on.

He is preceded in death by his father, Beverly (Bub) Atwood Jr. Chris is survived by his loving wife Rachel (Bielefeld) Atwood; son, Matthew Atwood; step-daughter, Breanna Boynton (Eric); mother, April Atwood Howell (Dan); mother-in-law, Rhonda Collins (Jack); grandfather, Beverly Atwood Sr.; papaw, George Brock; sister, Dawn Kost (Shawn), sister-in-law, Becca Hardesty, along with a niece, several nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 17, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) from 4-8PM. His Funeral Service will be at 11AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home with visitation before from 9-11AM with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
