Christine Marie Klar

Christine Marie Klar, age 59, born in Louisville, KY on November 5, 1962, joined her Heavenly Father on December 11, 2021. She lived her entire life in Louisville, KY. Chris graduated from Tully school in J-town at the age of 21. She had a career with Independent Industries for over 20 years. When they closed in 2016, she happily transferred to Harbor House. Christine's interests were about work, music and love. She loved to dance and perform for family and friends. She considered everyone she met to be her friend whom she greeted with a hug and a kiss. She was quick to laugh and say, "I love you". Chris is preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, Cecilia E. Klar and Albert F. Klar, Sr.; along with her niece, Cindy Elam; and nephew, C.Patrick Nett.

Christine left her family of origin, sisters, Mary Moll, Sharon Miller, Sue Ann Metcalf, and Martha (David) Nett; and brothers, Freddy (Karen) Klar, Lawrence (Samara) Klar, and Jimmy (Becky) Klar; nieces and nephews, Jeff Moll, Keith Moll, Andy Miller, Allison Gibson, Carrie Evanoff, Lauren Klar, Lana Klar, Sam Klar, Beth Nett, Jackie Mudd, Ashley Humphrey, Stephanie Bale, Matthew Klar, Griffin Klar and Bodni Klar. She also had 18 great nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation and Mass of Celebration will be held at Holy Family Church, 3938 Poplar Level Rd, 40213, on December 17, 2021, beginning at 11 am with funeral mass at 1 pm.
