Christine Goldsmith, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Christine loved to serve her church with multiple music ministries such as: Hand Bell director, Sam Singers director, Senior Citizen director, leader for Joy in the Morning ladies group, nursing home piano ministry. She loved serving God.

She was born on April 26, 1935, in Horse Branch, Kentucky to William and Ruby Mollyhorn. She is preceded in death by her Father, William Dewey Mollyhorn; Mother, Ruby Wood Mollyhorn; Brother, William Dewey Mollyhorn; and Sister, Jean Cox.

Christine is survived by her loving children: Diana (Dawling) Forbis, Cynthia (Gary) Jones, Steven (Carla) Goldsmith, Robin (Richard) Mays, and Clifford T. Goldsmith. Grandchildren, Drew (Rebecca) Forbis, Dena Forbis, Jerimy (Ashley ) Jones, Jesse (Ashley) Jones, Nathan Goldsmith, Amber (Chris) Johnson, Lucas (Bryana) Mays, Levi Mays, Christina Mays, Christian (Hanna) Goldsmith, and Troy (Elisha) Goldsmith. Great-Grandchildren: Garrett Jones, Aiden Jones, Olivia Jones, Raylynn Jones, River Jones, Maddox Johnson, Ezra Mays, Elias Mays, Jonah Goldsmith, Israel Goldsmith, Adalynn Goldsmith, and Grace Goldsmith. Brother: Donald Mollyhorn.

Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at Shively Baptist Church (1599 Sadie Ln, Louisville, KY 40216) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Christine's memory be made to Re-Center Ministries, formerly Central Baptist Mission, (733 E Jefferson St. Louisville, KY 40202).
