Christina H. Ramsey

Christina Hope "Chrissy" Gates Ramsey of Louisville, KY 43, died Thursday, August 31, 2017 at U of L Hospital. She was born July 5,1974 in Madisonville, KY. She enjoyed making crafts and painting. Chrissy's smile always could light up the room.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl & Irene Fry of Louisville, KY and Chester & Mable Haline Gates of Hanson, KY; step mother, Louise Gates of Dawson Springs, KY and grandfathers, James Raymond, Sr. and Kenneth Blanton.

Christina is survived by her husband, Shawn Ramsey; two sons, Christian Pace and Chance Ramsey; one daughter, Catlyn Ramsey; step son, Cain Ramsey; grandson, Conner Ramsey all of Louisville, Ky,; mother, Debbie and Kevin Blanton of Shepherdsville, KY; father, Gary Gates, Sr. of Dawson Springs, KY; mother-in-law, Billie Hourigan of Louisville, KY.; three brothers, Steven Gates (Christina), of Mount Washington, KY., Brian Gates of Louisville, KY and Gary Gates, Jr. (Annjeana) of Madisonville, KY.; grand mothers, Chris Blanton of Louisville, KY and Doris Raymond of Shepherdsville, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, aunt's, uncle's, cousins and friends that loved her very much.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 3, 2017, from 12pm-4pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, with a celebration of Christina's life beginning at 4pm.

Cremation following the service. Expressions of sympathy may take form of contributions to the Newcomer's Funeral Home in loving memory of Chrissy.
