Christina Anne Glass

Christina Anne Glass, 44, a kind, courageous, and brave soul from New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Born on April 19, 1980, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Christina was a light in the lives of those who knew her.

Music played a pivotal role in Christina's life. She had an undeniable passion for creating her own melodies and was adept at playing any instrument she could get her hands on. As a member of the Community Music Alliance, she not only honed her musical talents but also shared her love of music with others.

In addition to music, Christina found joy in numerous activities that brought people together. She enjoyed playing board games, with Monopoly being one of her favorites. Her enthusiasm also extended to card games, especially rummy. Holidays were particularly special for Christina, as they provided an opportunity to celebrate with her family and friends, filling her heart with happiness.

A person of deep faith, Christina loved Jesus and held strong to the teachings of the Bible, which offered her guidance and comfort throughout her life.

She was born on April 19, 1980 to Donald Marcraft, Sr. and Sandra (Williams) Glass. In addition to her parents, Christina is survived by her fiancé, Brian Bazonski; her children, Sarah James (Drew), Kansas Pixley (Brandon), Robert Neff (Journey), and Michael James; her brothers, Timothy Glass, Sr. (Christian) and James Glass, Sr. (DeAnna). Christina took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, adoring her grandchildren Peyton, Oliver, Lilly, Wyatt, Cameron, and Felix. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her nine nieces and nephews and her best friend, Danetta Harraway.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
