Christeen Williams, age 96, of Louisville passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010. She was formerly of Milburn, Kentucky and retired from the Curley Clothing Co. in Mayfield, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Iris Nall Long; her husband, Jewell Williams; one brother, Albertis Long of Milburn and one sister, Idell Shelley of Fort Myers, FL.
Ms. Williams is survived by one niece, Peggy Jo Jones (Robert) of Fort Myers, FL; one nephew, Gene Long (Anna) of Pewee Valley, Ky and a host of family and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Milburn Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Milburn Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Louisville, Ky has been entrusted with arrangements.
