Cheryl Parker

Cheryl Lynn Parker, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. 

She was born on September 23, 1956 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Roland and Elsie (Carver) Halsel. She is preceded in death by her Father, Roland Halsel, Grandson, Erique Martez Fields, Siblings, Garry Allen Halsel and Jacqueline Halsel.

Cheryl is survived by her loving family, Mother, Elsie Halsel, Children, DeShawn M. Halsel, Erica Parker, and Brittney Lee (Kenneth Jr.) Queen, Grandchildren, Koby Barksdale, Brittney Parker, Kennady Queen, and Kenneth Queen, III, Brother, Jeffrey Halsel, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
