Cheryl Ellegood-Gaffigan

Cheryl "Sis Anne" Ellegood-Gaffigan , 56, of Fairdale, Kentucky passed away on September 9, 2016 after a short, hard fought battle with lung cancer. She grew up in Middletown, IL. Cheryl was a free-spirit who loved to dance and write poetry. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Cheryl was a hard worker who inspired her employees to do the same.

Cheryl was born on August 11, 1960, in Lincoln, Illinois to the late Walter and Pauline (Sparks) Ellegood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gregor Gaffigan.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Mikel (Mendi) Gaffigan, Tasha Gaffigan, and Mason (Jessica) Gaffigan; grandchildren, Anna Robinson, Madelyn Deweese, Ava Gaffigan, and Axel Gaffigan; siblings, Walt (Pam) Ellegood, Sharon (David) Merriman, Roy (Jane) Ellegood, Greg Ellegood, and Robert (Clarice) Ellegood; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Middletown, IL.
