Cheryl Leigh Duvall

Cheryl Leigh DuVall, 73, of New Albany, formerly of Louisville, passed away on May 27, 2018 at Baptist Health Louisville. A graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University, she taught Art at Shepherdsville and Bernheim Middle School in Bullitt Co. and retired after 27 years.
She was born on March 2, 1945 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Doris (Hinton) and Richard L. DuVall, Jr.
Cheryl is survived by her companion, Joe M. Kroskey; children, Michelle McGuirk Jones and Wayne McGuirk; grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan, and Austin Parker, and Brittany McGuirk Botkin; great grandchildren, Jimmy McGuirk and Livy Hites; and sisters, Janet Davis (Bill), Candi Brooks (Bob), and Bre DuVall.
A gathering of family and friends for a time of remembrance will be 6PM to 8PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Marks United Church of Christ (222 E. Spring Street New Albany, IN 47150).Cremation was chosen following Cheryl's wishes.
