Chase Matthew Slack

Chase Matthew Slack, 25, of Louisville, Kentucky, was set free on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Chase had a quirky sense of humor and loved making others laugh. He had a Big Heart and cared about the well being of others. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and watching University of Kentucky games. Chase is at peace now and will be missed by all those who knew him.

He was born on April 27, 1996 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mark and Rene (Stepler) Slack. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Earl & Bernice Slack.

Chase is survived by his Parents, Father, Mark Slack, Mother, Rene Slack, Son, Waylon Slack, Sister, Marissa (Austin) Bischoff, Grandparents Howard & JoAnn Stepler, Niece, Amaylie Bischoff, Nephew, Westen Bischoff, Uncle, Steve (Angie) Stepler, Aunts, Sherry (Larry) Small, Linda (Danny) Logsdon, and Vicki (Melvin) Cobble. Chase also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (10304 Dixie Highway). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial's in Chase's memory be made to his 2 year old son Waylon.
