Charrise Lynn (Wade) O'Brien

Charrise Lynn (Wade) O'Brien, 62 years, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Charrise enjoyed being outside gardening, camping, fishing, and boating. She was skilled at oil painting and crocheting and was an avid collector of vintage Barbie items and many pets that she dearly loved.

She was born on June 29, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Gerald and the late Joy (Dillman) Mason. Along with her mother, Charisse is preceded in death by her sister, Angela Arnold.

Along with her father, Charrise is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael O'Brien; daughter, Amber Jones; grandchildren, Savannah O'Brien, Deja Jones, Brayden Harvey, and Sofiah Harvey; great-grandchild, Ariannah Wilson; siblings, Michelle (Keith) Stevenson, Pamela Wade, and Christopher (Laura) Mason, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Charrise's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Charrise's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
