Charlotte Elizabeth (Cherry) Grace

Charlotte E. (Cherry) Grace, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, left this world to live eternally with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was a long-time resident of Lincoln Hills Nursing Home and a retiree of Floyd Memorial Hospital where she worked for 32 years as a manager in Quality and Environmental Health Services.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Juel Cherry; father, Edward Cherry; sister, Wanda Long; brother, William Cherry; and, recently, her best friend, Alma Bailey.

Charlotte leaves her memories to cherish and share with her daughter and son-in-law, Mo'sha (Lackey) and Rashon Myles, Sr.; daughter, Jennifer Jewell; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rosa Hardin and Alvilda Jones; brother, Melvin Cherry; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Galatian Missionary Baptist Church (2020 Maryland Avenue, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the church with burial to follow at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany.
