Charlie L. Hall

Charlie L. "Chuck" Hall, 74, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his residence with his family at his side. He was a retired electrician from the Local 369 Electrical Workers Union and a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany. Charlie will be remembered for his love for family and friends.

Charlie was born on October 16, 1935 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, to the late Herman and Annie (McElfresh) Hall. He is also preceded in death by his son, John J. Hall; brother, Henry Hall and sister, Linda Allen.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marian (Jordan) Hall; children, Patricia L "Trisha" Carr and her husband Joe of Henryville, Carla S. Love of Georgetown and Karen R. Poole and her husband David of Harrodsburg, KY; brothers, Nathan Hall of Otisco and Carl Zahn and his wife Mary of New Albany; sister, Debi Jones and her husband Kevin of Georgetown; grandchildren, Casey Campbell and her husband Adam of Jeffersonville, Clayton Carr of Henryville, Chad and Cody Poole and Carly and Cassidy Brown all from Harrodsburg, KY and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His funeral will be celebrated at 6:30 PM on Thursday evening, September 9, 2010 at Graceland Baptist Church (3600 Kamer Miller Road, New Albany).

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Graceland Baptist Church Mission Fund.
