Charlie Bivins

March 27, 1952 — October 25, 2021

Charlie passed away at home after a long battle with prostate cancer, he was 69. He loved his family dearly, he taught Pat how to play golf now that's dearly. He loved playing his guitars and fishing. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, sister Jenny and father George.

He will forever be in our hearts, he is survived by his wife Pat, sons Richard (Leigh Ann), Chris, grandson Spencer, great-grandson Spencer II, mother Kathleen, brothers Tommy (Cindy), Keith (Jennifer) and sister Mary Ann (George).

Pat would like to thank her family and friends for their prayers and support, Dr. John Huber and staff, Dr. Amir Piracha and Carla for their excellent care of Charlie through the years.

A gathering to celebrate Charlie's life will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Charlie's memory be made to Prostate Research Foundation or Hosparus Health.
