Charles Martin Walters, born on February 3, 1953, in beautiful Pensacola, Florida, departed this world on June 28, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. He leaves behind an enduring legacy marked by his unwavering work ethic, adventurous spirit, and deep affection for his family and friends.

A proud graduate of Waggener High School, Charles was a man of many talents, navigating through diverse career paths that showcased his hard work and ingenuity. His experiences ranged from working on a boat to mastering the art of plaster, and he made significant contributions to the services industry. Each endeavor reflected his dedication and intelligence, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.

Outside of his professional life, Charles was known for his hobbies and interests that brought joy and excitement into his life. He was an avid collector of guns, a passionate flea marketer, and possessed an innate talent for finding treasures to resell. His love for good food was matched only by his love for family gatherings, where laughter and shared stories filled the air, creating cherished memories that will forever linger.

He embodied the values of loyalty, kindness, and adventure. Charles was a devoted brother and uncle, always present for his loved ones, offering support, encouragement, and a listening ear. His adventurous spirit inspired those around him to embrace life with open hearts and minds.

Charles is survived by his loving sisters, Sandra (Harold) Ritchey and Amy (Tom) Rassanier Klusman; his step-brothers, Lewis Tabor and Paul (Catherine) Tabor; his step-sister, Ruth (Gary) Wilder; and a multitude of dear nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Martin Walters, Jr., and his mother, Ruth Dickson Walters Rassinier, both of whom he held in his heart with deep love and admiration. Their influence shaped the resilient, caring man he became.
