Charles Edward Thomas, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Charles was retired from Philip Morris.

He was born on October 28, 1943 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to Charles and Alma Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

Charles is survived by his loving Wife of 52 years, Joyce A Thomas, Daughters, April (Louis) Thomas-Moon, and Felicia Thomas, Grandchildren, Jasmine Churchill, Jourden Simpson, Jared O. Thomas, and Donovan Mitchell, Great-Grandchild, Jyelle Dempsey, and five sisters.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Charles's memory be made to Simmons College of Kentucky.
