Charles David Stiff, 74, of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

He was born on October 6, 1947 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Lillian (Chappell) Stiff. He is also preceded in death by his sister Anna Guynd Lyons and brother Cecil Elroy Stiff.

David was Marine Veteran and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University. He was an executive with the Boy Scouts of America a career shortened by a serious auto accident shortly after employment began. David was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He had a keen interest in political parties and politics in general and was once a candidate for Circuit Court Clerk in Breckinridge County.

David is survived by his brother, Kenneth Byron Stiff (Sue), sister Betty Sue Brooks, brother-in-law B.W. Lyons, sister-in-law Marilyn Jo Stiff, twelve nieces and nephews and three great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm CDT on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Hardinsburg United Methodist Church (123 S Main Street, Hardinsburg, KY 40143).

The family requests that contributions in David's memory be made to Hardinsburg United Methodist Church.
