He was born on February 16, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary (Cecil) Riney. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael J. Riney.
He is survived by his sister, Joni R. Russell, brother, Richard L. Riney, sister, Janet M. Riney, niece, Jenna (Bryan) Massey, nephew, Rob Tipton, niece, Marissa (Jake) Davis, great nephew, Dylan Massey, great niece, Hannah Massey, great niece, Harper Davis, great niece, Sadie Davis.
Private family services will take place. Inurnment will take place at St. Michael Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Charles's memory be made to American Cancer Society, Louisville Chapter.
