Charles "Henry" Reed, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 24, 2016. He retired from Nationwide Paper Company as a Fine Paper salesman and was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church. Henry was a Master Mason and Master of the Masonic Home Lodge twice. Henry was a member of the Scottish Rite of Louisville and Kosair Shrine Temple. He was in the Merchant Marines. Following his service in the Merchant Marines was called to the United States Army.
Henry was born on January 15, 1927, Nicholasville, Kentucky to the late James and Oda (Hansford) Reed. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Walker Reed and brothers, James and Marion Reed.
Henry is survived by his daughters, Mary Lynn James and Susan Reed-Flint; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Masonic Home of Louisville where he and his brother, Marion, were raised.
