Charles Ray "Charlie" Thomas

Charles Ray "Charlie" Thomas, 57, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026. Born on July 3, 1969, in New Albany, Indiana, Charlie was known for his love of the outdoors, whether camping in nature or attending car races. He had an incredible work ethic and talent for fixing things, and was an enthusiastic Indiana Hoosier basketball fan. Above all, Charlie cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn, Sr. and Mary (Jones) Thomas, and his beloved wife, Teresa. Charlie leaves behind his son, Craig Thomas (Sarah), and step-daughter, Lori Priddy (Michael); grandchildren, Madelyn, Anna, Briahna, and Levi; his brother, Glenn "Ed" Thomas, Jr. (Carolyn); nephews, Chad Thomas and Eric Thomas (Tina), as well as many close friends who will remember him fondly.

A celebration of Charlie's life will be announced in the coming weeks. He will be laid to rest privately at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's memory may be made to his family in care of the funeral home.
