Charles P. Pollard, Sr. , 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Charles was a painter by trade and was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church, where he served as an Elder.

He was born on June 17, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas and Ann (Estes ) Pollard . He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Thomas Pollard and sister, Joyce Spurgeon.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Wife, Pamela Pollard; daughter, Geneva (Joshua) Pollard; son, Charles Pollard , Jr.; daughter, Heather Foster; son, Brian (Erica) Johnson; brother, Gary (Terry ) Pollard, sister, Debbie (Walter) Thurmond; grandchildren: Joshua Geary, Phillip Pollard, Caleb Pollard-Craig, Malachi Witt, Bailey Thomas, Chase Johnson, Ethan Johnson; and sister-in-law Janice Pollard, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
