December 12, 1949 — January 17, 2015

Charles Edward "Eddie" Paragin, 65, of New Albany, Indiana passed away at his home on Saturday, January 17, 2015. Eddie was a truck driver for the New Albany Sanitation Department for over 17 years. He was a long-time member of the Floyd County Conservation Club and he enjoyed hunting, but his true love was his family and spending time with his grandkids.

Eddie was born on December 12, 1949 in Lilly, Kentucky to the late Charles Homer & Pribble Irene (Atkins) Paragin. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Annetta Staser; sister-in-law, Donna McKnight; & brother-in-law, Louis Staser.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Helen (Staser) Paragin; son, Charles "Dustin" Paragin (Carrie); sister, Patty Baxter; grandchildren, Mariah Jordan & Austin; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hoskins (Jerry), Mary Delaney; brothers-in-law, Charles Staser (Mary Anne), James Staser (Linda), Robert Staser; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
