Charles Michael Gassman, 66, of Louisville passed away on February 28, 2015. Mike was a member of Life Church Louisville.
Born in Louisville on May 31, 1948, the son William and Dorothy (Muesik) Hanka. His father preceded him death. In addition to his father, he preceded in death by his step-father, Robert C. Hanka, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Rebecca L. Gassman; daughters, Connie Diehl, Michelle Rosenberg, Amanda Nash, and Jennifer Lynn Hale; mother, Dorothy Hanka; step-daughter, Jennifer Nash; step-son, Jesse Nash; brother, Tommy Gassman; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation for Mike will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with funeral service following at 6:00 pm.
