Charles M. May, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 25, 2016. He was a 1960 graduate of Eastern High School; he was a past President of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Employees' Cooperative.
Charley was also a former musician with the Louisville Civic Orchestra. He was a long-time volunteer fireman with the Worthington Volunteer Department.
He attended Speed Scientific School and earned a BS and an MBA at the University of Louisville, was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity and was past president of the Kentucky Indiana PC Users Group (KIPCUG).
Charley was born on July 5, 1942, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Rex (Jr.) and Viola (Cheek) May.
He is survived by his former wife, Marcella Blakeslee May of Westerville, Ohio and long-time friend, Steve (Michele) Farris of Louisville.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville Kentucky 40243).
