Charles Warren Lewis

Charles Warren Lewis, 77, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Charles, known to many as "Pops", was a member of Blue River Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting and tending to his gardens over the years. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Charles is survived by two sons, Carliss Lewis, Sr. and Make Lewis (Chrissy); siblings, Danny Radford, Dennis Lewis, Betty Lewis, Sandra Lewis, Jody Lewis, Frankie Lewis, and Rhonda Long; grandchildren, Charles Lewis, Jr., Tiffany LaPointe (Jerome), Anthony Lewis (Amanda), Melissa Lewis (Jocelyn), and Carliss Lewis, Jr.; and many great-grandchildren and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Porter; father, Woodrow Lewis; spouse, Beverly Lewis, son, Charles Lewis; and brother, Carrol Lewis.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Blue River Baptist Church (5624 E. Farabee Road Salem, IN 47167). Cremation was chosen following Charles' wishes.
