Charles R. "Bob" Ledington, Sr. , 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019.
He was born on June 11, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Julian and Dorothy Ledington. Charles was an avid University of Kentucky Fan. He worked at Hillerich & Bradsby for 40 years and was a coach for several years with the Germantown Little League.
Charles is survived by his loving Wife of 56 years, Bonnie Ledington, Sons, Rob, Mike (Karen), and Mark (Marianne) Ledington, Daughter, Tonya (Todd) Truesdell, Grandchildren, Conner Ledington, Hunter and Chase Truesdell, and Sarah Jemerson, Brothers, Joe (Dottie), Larry (Donna), and Kerry (Sharon) Ledington, Sister, Debbie (Chester ) Cardinale.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Charles's memory be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
