Charles Knight

Charles Knight, 87, of Finchville, Kentucky passed away on April 16, 2016. He retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Kentucky. He was the owner of Knightlife Farm in Shelby County and a member of the Kiwanis Club.

Charles was born on October 19, 1928 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Charles and Eloise (King) Knight. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert H. Knight, Otto King Knight, and Joseph Jackson Knight.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Allene (Martin) Knight, brother, Billy Wayne Knight, daughters, Charlotte (Kevin) Blackerby, Coleen (Virgil) Mills, grandson James Kevin (Sandy) Mills and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).

His funeral ceremony will be held Thursday April 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at 1:00 pm.
