Charles Windell Hornback

Charles Windell Hornback, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was retired from V.C. Glass Carpet Co.

He was born on July 4, 1941 in Upton, Kentucky to Coy and Dovie Hornback. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Marvin Lee Hornback, Edmond H. Hornback, and Hershel K. Hornback, Sisters, Thelma L. Blair, and Frieda F. Hornback.

Charles is survived by his Sisters, Joyce Lewis, and Brenda K. Fields, Brothers, Herman G. Hornback, James N. Hornback, and Larry W. Hornback, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, in Mt Washington, KY.
