Charles Edward Hauber

September 14, 1964 — February 26, 2019

Charles Edward Hauber, 54, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He worked for over 10 years at Moser Leather Company in New Albany and J&J Pallet. Chuck was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Hoosiers. Above everything else, Chuck loved his children and brothers.

He was born on September 14, 1964, in New Albany, Indiana, to Charles and Joann (Banet) Hauber.

Chuck is survived by his Son, Chris Hauber; Daughter, Alisha Kirchgessner; Brother, Danny (Mary Honaker) Rosenberger; Brother, Blain (Stephanie) Rosenberger; Nephew, Shawn Rosenberger; Niece, Kristy (James) Grider; and Nephew, Brandon Rosenberger.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Charles' memory be made to the American Lung Association (P.O. Box 9067, Louisville, KY 40209).
