Fawcett, Charles "Chuck", peacefully left this Earthly existence on January 4th, 2017.
Throughout his 77 years he showed a remarkable ability to turn the complicated in to the very simple. Somehow the very simple always ended up being love. Thank you for teaching us that very simple lesson.
Chuck was born on July 31st, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Russell and Beatrice Ann (Retch) Fawcett. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; his children, Chad and Rose, David and Leslie, and Patrick and Tracey, his step-children Denny and Leigh, seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; and his sister Patricia Fawcett Carey. Chuck is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Thomas Fawcett, and his sister, Penelope Fawcett Spears.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.) A service to honor the life of Chuck will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
