Charles Evans Sr., 79, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on May 2, 2018. He was retired from O'Neal Steel.

Charles was born on June 9, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Howard and Berdie Evans. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rita E. Evans.

Charles is survived by his children, Sons, John Evans, Charles Evans, Jr., Willie Wells, Tyrone Evans, Tony Evans, and Todd Evans, Daughters, Cynthia Evans, Cheri Evans, and Cynthia Frazier, Grandchildren, Devon Frazier, Asaud Frazier, Andre Frazier, Iman Frazier, Bailee Wells, Kylee Wells, Marlee Wells, Oakley Wells, Haley Evans, Travon Evans, Dayja Evans, and Dayton Evans, and his Sister, Lettie Evans.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday, May 7, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm following the visitation.
